Common Etiquette rules

Arketts use several honorifics with each name to indicate rank (similar to real-world Japanese honorifics).

Common Dress code

Every Arkett wears a sash styled according to their chosen weaving, or career. Each sash designates their obligations and rank. Traditionally, this is one of the more sacred forms of garments that they wear, and they are to be kept neat and tidy. Beyond the sashes, all Arkett clothing is the same material formed from Etherion, and is often designed with triangular silhouettes and decorated with cyberpunk lines.

Birth & Baptismal Rites

Funerary and Memorial customs

For the Arketts, death shouldn't be common. Yes, people die, mostly in the hunts for Shadows, but rarely elsewhere unless there's a bloody conflict between factions. When a death does occur, there is a single chamber on each island where they bury their dead, like a grand family crypt. In fact, there is no burial of bodies; the body goes through a treatment where it is infused with Etherion to the point that it disperses on an atomic scale. It's equivalent to a cremation. But what is saved of each person is a holographic image of their individual scroll markings, the blue lines that appear on their skin only in the glow of Etherion light, as well as a summary of their life. That hologram is saved in a plaque and stored in the vault of the dead.

Historical figures

Zenock was the spokesperson who reached out to the Eternal Stars, the Primordials, and begged help escaping their dying world. He was the Supreme Archlord of the High Council back on the old world.
