Aeterna

A comet streaks across the sky, painting a red gash across the blue canvas. For more than a decade, the Red Comet has been part of Aeterna's sky. Though it captured the fascination of its people, it was forgotten before long, as the gears of mortal struggle cannot afford to stay still for so long.   Aeterna is a world at the cusp of change, and many would argue it always has been changing since the arrival (and departure) of the Pantheon of the Five. Even when the meddling gods left their mortal creations to their devices, war and intrigue permeated the land as the mortal races attempted to fill the void left by their gods. Still, it was the first time in their history that people were truly free, and ideas of freedom of thought and other new ideologies begin to take form. Yet, the tower of the world, Lux Iris, remains fresh in the memory of the world. It's power and mystery beckoning all those who seek its esoteric secrets.   What will the future hold for the souls destined to change fate?
