The Undermountain District

This area is situated just east of Middletownin Karis, and takes its name from the prosperous dwarf community that has grown there. As a result of dwarven immigration, the city’s best foundries are located in this district. Local legend says that the dwarves, true to their nature, have carved extensive tunnels into the hills beneath the district, but this is little more than rumor.
