The Aia

There are eight gods in Aeryth, known as the Aia. Every culture has their own names for the gods, and thinks that there gods are unique, when in fact they refer to the same entities through syncretism. Whether the gods exist or not is a subject of much debate. Different cultures worship different gods, and many people disbelieve them altogether. If the gods do exist, they seem to take no interest in the lives of mortal races.
Although there are the eight major gods of the celestial court, but many cultures recognize others as well, including the dark gods, fallen Aia who now have neither a face nor a mortal name.
