Adairpea

Adairpea is one of the Aia. His domain includes the natural world and green spaces, but he is also a warrior god and his domain includes youthfulness, masculinity, agriculture, and the harvest. Young men who are coming of age often pray to him for guidance and help in rituals and trials of manhood. His cult is also popular with farmers.    He is considered one of the champions of the Aia, and is said to have led a host of the gods against N'Mosis and the demon hordes during the war in heaven.    His attribute is the plow, and when his star appears in that constellation, a good harvest is expected.   All of the cultures that worship Adairpea agree that he is one of the celestial Aia. He can be seen as a green wandering star in the night sky. He is called Alfham by the elves, among whom his cult is particularly popular. The orcs refer to him as Nerguhl, and worship the more warlike side of his character.

Cultural Reception

The orcs' name for Adairpea is Nergal, and they worship him as not just their god of war, but their creator god as well. The elves also worship Adairpea, although in their mythology he seems to be more closely connected to the Seelie lands. The dwarves refer to him as Angarak, though in the dwarven pantheon, his cult is much less popular, as they view him as an arrogant god capable of bringing much destruction.
