Elba

On the western slopes of the Colm Mountains lies the forests and foothills of Elba. The northern coast of Elba meets the Leviathan Sea while to the west and south lie the Cloud Strait and the Shattered Sea respectively. Passage to Elba from the rest of Lallonis is through the narrow Daemons Pass in the Colm Mountains.

Geography

Northern Elba:

Across northern Elba, the foothills of the eastern Colm Mountains soften becoming Badon Plain to the west. On its western most edge Badon Plain meets the Sylver Forest. On the northern shores of Elba, its coastline meets the Leviathan Sea and turns southwest. From this northern shore one can see far off the isle of Tara, and on a particularly clear day one can see the northern most tip of the Cloud Strait and the Mists of Enes.

Western Elba:

Western Elba makes up the eastern half of the Cloud Strait. Less than half a mile from the western shores of Elba billow the Mists of Enes. Dominated by the Sylver Forest, it is rumored the Sidhe Elves still hold court beneath its roots. These rumors are often dismissed as none have seen the Sidhe since the Bale Night.

Southern Elba:

Here the Elban coastline turns southeast and meets the Shattered Sea. Stretching from the Colm Mountains and Daemons Pass in the east, the Daemon Woods flow into southern Elba.

Eastern Elba:

Dominating most of eastern Elba, the Colm Mountains reach from Elbas northern to southern coastlines. Broken only by the Daemons Pass, the Colm Mountains stand as a natural defense and bulwark against invasion. Daemons Pass itself is a dried riverbed through the Colm Mountains connecting Elba with the rest of Lallonis. Daemons Pass takes its name from its defenders, the Daemon Archers, who have watched over the pass since the defeat of Klag the Ogre Prince.
