Vahltain Military
Ranks:
Paladin: These elite answer to the emperor himself. They wear ornately decorated full body armor forged of hardened steel. They are given a horse which is also clad in armor. They often have the duty of commanding whole troops while leading the charge into battle and inspiring their fellow soldiers. They ride their steeds while deflecting attacks with their large steel shields and crashing through enemies with their large steel mauls. They carry a short sword called a Vahlius in case they are disarmed or unmounted. They usually carry no range weapons as it is seen as cowardice in their position.They bear a flag on their back with sign of Vahltias, Titan Within the Mountain
Bishop: Spell casting warriors
Templar: The warriors are trained in hand to hand combat. They wear a special metal armament which allows for solid protection and swift mobility. Their spiked gauntlets are capable of breaking through most armor, and they toss heavy metal spheres for range combat. They can easily disarm their enemies. Great for crashing through enemy lines and breaking their formations. They bear the sign of Anvus Col, Adamant Champion
Knight: Equipped in full hardened steel plate armor. Equipped with large tower shields bearing sign of Vahlta. They often leave these shield upon their back as they wield heavy two handed swords to cleave through enemies. They use sharp steel throwing discs (severen) to sever their opponents limbs from afar.
Sentry: Basic infantry men. Often wearing chain mail. Armed with steel tipped spears and bronze circle shields. They use javelins for long range combat.

A standing army of 10,000 strong.
Equipment
The army is always equipped with tools for setting camp, collecting wood and food. This allows them to travel deep into their enemies lands and maintain their own colonies over long distances. Often an oxen or tortostodon will burden this load.
Weaponry
All weapons and armor are crafted by master smiths of Vahlta
Vehicles
Oxen pulled carts, Tortostodons equipped with war chests, and the rare horse Paladins.
Structure
The emperor commands the Paladins to uphold law. Paladins command armies to serve his will. Each paladin constructs their own chain of command within their own ranks. Often delegating power to knights or templar.
Training
Vahltain soldiers undergo the strictest training. Constantly running through military drills and studying combat tactics.
