On an isolated island lies a powerful empire rich with culture and protected by legendary warriors which adhere to a strict code of honor. Once disputed over by feudal warlords. An organisation of spiritual fighters "Order of the Sun" were able to establish a peace amongst the island. The warlords joined forces and selected an emperor.
As their population grew after the mass violence ended it was decided that exploration for a new home would be necessary. After establishing a trade route with the Vahltain empire the current emperor decided to embrace this new world as he had a lust for their gold. The order of the sun was opposed to this relationship amongst the empires. This has started a civil war between those that live by the old traditions of martial combat and isolation and those attempting to modernize with the new world. They utilize black power explosives and combustion hand cannons.
The Mitsu Hunter is a type of legendary assassin with mystical powers.
The only civilization to be left mostly unscathed from the Doomsday meteor. A powerful sage was able to conjure a mighty wind to blow the radiant debris from the meteor away from the island nation. Knowing the main continent would become a poisoned wasteland this would begin the long age of isolationism.
