Celestial Spheres

Among the skies giant spheres can be seen many of different colors. As years pass these spheres change location. Some come closer, others farther away. What is known that is that they seem to have effects magic depending on which spheres are in the sky.
(These spheres are planets. Some with life and bizarre creatures. Others may be desolate but may have a certain elemental structure.)
The twelve spheres seem to orbit around the sun. Each has been assigned a month in the celestial calendar.
