Achltu, Volcanic Jungle Islands

The Achltu people have been isolated to the southern jungle islands where they have developed a unique culture and societal structure. Achltu warriors mutilate their bodies to imitate reptiles. By sharpening their teeth, forking their tongues, and tattooing/scaring scale patterns onto their skin. These people also wear exotic piercings made of stones and feathers. These warriors wield wooden, stone, and obsidian weaponry Achltu shamans are quite powerful with celestial stones. these stones are abundant in the region and has attracted the eye of the colonial Vahltains. Though, the Vahltains have been unable to establish a strong settlement in the islands they have resorted to capturing these natives and either enslaving them or holding them for ransom in return for celestial stones.

Geography

This island system is in the tropical southern seas. It's volcanic islands are covered in rain forest.

Fauna & Flora

Exotic plant life exists here. Including carnivorous plants that can move. Exotic insects and ravenous reptiles roam these jungles. Powerful Draygus are rumored to live in the depths of the volcanos and the native tribes worship them as gods.
