(a.k.a. Ri)

Ri (she only forces people who she doesn’t like to say her whole name) was adopted by a rich Elven couple as a toddler. She doesn’t remember her real parents at all. Her adoptive parents, while nice, expected Ri to be quiet, calm, and to gently discuss differences. She was often chastised for not being respectful or “ladylike” and for being unable to control her emotions, especially anger. This clash of personalities caused Ri to fight a lot with her adopted parents growing up. When she was 17, Ri completely lost control in one of these fights and accidentally started a fire in her family home. While no one was seriously hurt, her father, completely frustrated, yelled at her to leave and not come back. So she stormed out and hasn’t seen her adoptive family since.

Soon after being on her own, Ri found a new family: a travelling group of circus performers. She was instantly accepted and formed deep bonds with the other performers. She learned to use her fire spells and her glass orb arcane focus to become an expert contact juggler. During the 6 years that she worked with them, Ri began to feel a desire to find her “real” parents, to find out why she was left with the elves. This desire got stronger and stronger, until Ri decided to leave the circus and look for them on her own.
