Keswanna Plains

Keswanna Plains or just Keswanna is a lush agricultural region of Aerilon, dubbed “the Breadbasket of Aerilon”. Through some strange magic, the region has an incredibly diverse bio-sphere of fauna and flora with jungles blending into forests into arable land with little rhyme or reason. Fortunately however, this means that the region produces a vast array of different food for the rest of Aerilon. There is an elemental rail that runs from Luxor to Kesorra, a trading post for goods in central Keswanna. The elemental rail requires constant maintenance due to the invasive nature of Keswanna’s flora. Many villages send food to Kesorra to exchange for other goods.

The unofficial capital is Kesorra, run by the Selesnya Conclave. Keswanna is decentralised, with village councils/tribes enforcing the laws of their own territories, in an ever shifting game that often makes sense only to the locals. The Yuan-ti have their own sphere of influence expanding out of Yaxchillan to the south-west of Kesorra which has expanded in recent times as a bastion against the corruption. Glimmertown was another sphere of influence, the third and weakest of the plains, and was the domain of an ancient green dragon, Glimmerspine who was slayed by the The Guild Pact.

The people of the plains have a strong membership with the Selesnya Conclave, although Yaxchillan citizens typically reject the conclave and Arawai and worship Aureon instead.

Localized Phenomena

The corruption: a malignant tumour of explosive plant growth that spread across the plains, has recently been contained due to the efforts of the Selesnya to the east, and the defeat of Kelladen and Arawai's tear by the Guild Pact in Yaxchillan.

Fauna & Flora

Lush rainforests cover the bulk of the plains, to the north sides are expansive plains perfect for farming.

Tourism

Elemental Rail takes people from Alenium straight to Kesorra, although the line has been damaged due to the corruption.
