Sea-Clan Krigsåska of Skärgård

Rows of longships carved with knots and runes sail across the waves, Isle Skärgård can be seen far in the distance behind them slowly disappearing from view. The warrior men row while two other men, one in robes and the other in a cloak of hide, chant prayers under their breaths as low hymns while they channel arcane and divine magics in harmony. Encroaching on the horizon ahead of them are several large man’o’war ships surrounded by a fleet of smaller vessels dot around the coastline of a small port town.
The ships are of imperial design, gilded and colored in the flag of the empire with motifs of wyverns and suns spanning their flags and bodies, and have obviously noticed the Krigjaren longboats approaching. The waves seem to grow more and more restless with the chants of the men standing, and after a few moments a volley of arrows can be seen being launched from the imperial ships to the longboats. The warriors all stop rowing for only a moment to all raise their shields, as if they were forming a wall of wood over top of the boats themselves. The man in robes chanting arcane magics steps forward to the front of the ship and launches forth from his hands a ball of flames as large as a mortar, and sends it hurtling towards a man’o’war. Other wizards from the other longboats follow suit and soon a volley of meteors is seen falling from the sky at an arch towards the fleet of imperial ships.
As the fire nearly lands against the vulnerable wood ships, it dissipates in mid flight, the air around the ships becoming distorted and fractal, causing them to look as if they are being displaced in time and space. Men wearing white masks and dressed in dark blue military coats step forward on the imperial ships, with large alien music boxes strapped to their chests as they rotate the cranks, and some warped deep bassed tone shrieks from the boxes, a distorted field of energy forms around the ships and protects them from the fireballs.
The wizards of the longboats step back and cast magical shields over their crews, making room for the more Druidic hymn chanting men to step forward and raise their arms to the skies. As the longboats row closer to the fleets, the large ships cannons boom and send balls of lead flying across the water to crash through two of the Krigjaren boats, sending men flying overboard in every direction.
With the chanting of the druids getting louder and louder, storm clouds seem to fill the skies in a dark grey, and the seas start to thrash about violently around the imperial ships. Bolts of lighting crash down from the skies and strike a few of the ships, passing through the fields of distortion and starting fires aboard them. In retaliation, more cannons are fired and more Krigs are sunk beneath the waves in a volley of lead that crashes through the shields of the wizards.
All of the Druidic casters seem to chant in harmony now, as the sea level begins to rise beneath them, and waves rush straight for the empire. Out of the rushing waves rise giant black and red sea serpents that crash against the sides of their ships with full force, sending men flying and causing immense destruction in their wake. Swordsmen among the ships attempt to fight off the serpents but are swallowed whole. The masked men with music boxes look up at the huge beasts and stop playing as they run to the other sides of the boats to escape. Cannons are broadside shot into the bodies of the serpents to harm them and send several of them sinking below the waves, and at this point the Krig longboats have reached close enough to begin boarding the imperial ships with axes and grappling hooks and ropes.
The men of both sides aboard the imperial ships engage in melee combat, the roars of battle ensuing as flares are sent into the sky from the boats. All along the port town, bells can be heard ringing nonstop, and from the fort high on a plateau cliff overseeing the water can be seen volleys of mortars screaming as they fly through the sky. Crashing into ships of both sides and leaving destruction in their wake, the Krigjaren wizards return with a volley of their own fires towards the fort.
With most ships on fire, many of the Krigsåskan ships make a retreat farther up the coast or back across the channel of water, while some try to sail past the brigade of imperials towards the mainland. Lines of imperial soldiers can be seen waiting on the shores for the landing of the longboats that pressed forward, and after a raging battle there are quite a few casualties. The warriors of the krigs being either dead from battle or shot with arrows, several of the druidic sorcerers can be seen being clapped in manacles and chains and being escorted away further inland and thrown into the backs of caged carts. All along the coasts fires burn and the graveyard of ships sinking piles up.
