Marcimanno, Wizard Necromancer

Born in a brothel as the bastard son of a noble father, and a whore mother, Marcimanno was the youngest of his 2 half-siblings, and was raised properly by his father. Shortly after his birth, his mother disappeared never to be seen again. His father's noble position in the courts of high elven society afforded them all a comfortable lifestyle, living in a mansion on the eastern borders of the Ymerodraethi nations. Growing up, Marcimanno was always intelligent, and considered a prodigy with arcane magics, but also slightly off to the other children, with very sociopathic tendencies, and so he made very few companions growing up.   As a prodigy with magic, his talent was recognized by one of his father's political partners, a high elven diplomat who often traveled all over the world to meet with other nations' officials, and who would bring souvenirs back as gifts to the young elf. However, this knack for magic stored in such an awkward child also brought disdain from others, such as those of a traveling guild of dragonborn mercenaries who ended up blaming the child for their suffering due to their superstitious taboos about magic.   With few friends made at all in his youth, the only one he did manage to make he ended up ruining at some point, for some reason or another, and as a result lived mostly in isolation even when living around his family. This solitude pushed young Marcimanno to leave the house more and explore, experimenting with his magics, whereupon he chance encountered one of the 13 Eldemarchs of the council and witnessed the absolute power that magic could reach, which enticed him only to seek more power for himself. Thus, the young elf left home to find more magical power in the world and increase his knowledge, seeing as he had no true life at home no matter how comfortable it was.   He fell in with a crowd of criminals at some point, befriending a human monk who was the only person he had met thus far that didnt truly disgust him and wasnt disgusted by him in return. Marcimanno's adventures were usually bountiful, as he found potions, and a riding horse that he cherished, many trinkets, and even fell in love at some point in his long life, but all of this instead of actually discovering the magical power he initially set out seeking.   At some point in his travels, his obsession with dark magic drew him to the Boneyards of the east, no mans lands where toxically corrupting magics fill the very air and distort and ravage every living thing. By traveling too close to these dangerous lands, he was captured by a tribe of dark elves who enslaved him as a mockery of his heritage as a high elf. It was here that he learned new levels of cruelty he had never before even been able to imagine, which only fueled the possibilities in his mind. Through his magic, he was able to escape his captors and return to his homeland for a time, whereupon he discovered the home he once called upon was ravaged and sacked to the ground by wars that had raged in his absence.   Now, with no home to return to, and with the world tearing itself apart in war across the land, as well as the ever growing rumors of the threat of a necromancer and his army of the dead rising in the far east, Marcimanno still travels the lands seeking power for himself. The only remaining blood of his line of nobility, he now seeks greater power through dark magics in order to immortalize himself and his family, perhaps through lichdom or other means...
