Vindholm lies on an island scarcely 10 miles from the Straits of Florenza and, as such, is one of the cities that generates revenue by taxing and providing services to ships passing through this bustling waterway. The city maintains a respectable fleet for combating piracy and theft, as well as a small marine corps to maintain order in the frequently unruly docks of the city.
