Storm

A legendary warrior of the Mariat War. He hasn't been seen since the war ended, although many have claimed to be him. He fought in many key battles, but the battle of Butterfly Glen was his most famous. For nine days he fought King Vimar II and his guards before finally killing him. According to his closest friend in the army, a field nurse named Annua, he briefly came back after he won, and told her that the king was dead and that he had to take care of someone, then disappeared. He hasn't been seen since. Every so often someone claims to be him, but either his military identification tattoo, his dagger, or both are off somehow, and the imposter is quickly discredited.

Prewar Life

Storm rarely talked about his life before the war to anyone but Annua, who refused to speak on it. What had been told to others was that he'd been "raised among plants", leading to the belief he was apprenticed to a florist before entering the war. He also often spoke of Lokina, which was razed just before he joined, and was said to be the reason he joined in the first place. It's believed he lived there before it was razed, but there's no way of proving this.

Lightning

Storm was proficient in several weapons, but only used one in combat, his dagger Lightning. The blade was seven inches long, attached to a four-inch hilt, and it had no magical properties whatsoever. Many of his battles were fought in dense forests, and after his first few victories using it, his commander stopped requiring him to bring other weapons. Storm was offered better daggers on many occasions, but refused them all in favor of keeping Lightning.

Personality

Blue was known above all to be determined. He was dedicated to his cause and was willing to do anything to get what he needed done. He was also known to be extremely loyal to his friends, and a great storyteller and musician, often supplying his regiment with campfire or traveling tales or music to help with morale. He was extremely passionate about all that he did, and was a large source of inspiration during and after the war.
