General Gaius overturns the Republic.

As General Gaius returned to the Kaiju Republic, he was hailed a hero, with flowers thrown at his feet as he marched his armies back into the city. Arriving at the Senate, he marched his personal guard inside and returned an hour later. The people gathered on the steppes and one asked, in confusion; “Where is the Senate?” and General Gaius gave his famous reply; “Ego Senatum.”: “I am the Senate.”. Thus ended the Kaiju Republic and the Kaiju Imperium began.
