The birth of the titans and the birth of all things.

From the coupling of Kronos and Ananke came the four titans; Caelus, Gaia, Surtr, and Nenu. The Titans were no more entertained by Ginnungagap than Kronos or Ananke had been, but unlike their parents, the Titans were more proactive. Caelus let out a deep breath and, from his lungs, came forth the element of air. Gaia, ever giving, took of her own flesh, and from it, she made all the matter and from it, the element of earth came to be. Surtr, temperamental and mercurial, roared into the nothingness and his rage was such that the element of fire sparked alive. Nun, hungering for the realms the others had made, opened his gargantuan maw and from his dripping saliva was made the element of water.
