The First Dynasty of the Sun

Nemeria is born.

When Nemer died, he had been blessed with four children and two wives, each of whom wished naught more than to expand Nemer’s vision.
And so the first Dynasty of Nemeria was born.
As more and more people flocked to the Pyramid, the First Dynasty quickly realized that the Pyramid alone could not hold them and set about building more. The first Dynasty thus expanded across the desert, raising new mountains wherever they went.
Despite their hard work, however, there was always greater demand for a home on the inside than there was supply. An agreement that all could support was found; If you wanted to live inside, you would first have to help build a new pyramid. The exception was, of course, the Hierophants, whose knowledge of the will of Ra and the rituals he had taught Nemer would exempt them from such earthly labors.
Over time, this resulted in the creation of three castes.
The Shaded lived inside and became the upper class, managing trade, currency, science and art.
The Scorched, living on the outside, was tasked with manual labor; Cutting stones, building new pyramids and farming.
And the Hierophants, the priest-sorcerers, who managed spiritual affairs.
The First Dynasty lasted for eight generations.
