Gorrok the Conqueror conquers the Kaiju Republic.

While the humans had left the northern snowy wastes, the goblinoids had had no such luck. For the majority of their existence, they had been satisfied with warring with each other and occasionally launching a raid on nearby human settlements. That changed with Gorrok The Conqueror. An orc warchief, Gorrok was as ambitious as he was cunning. He had no education but had a knack for sensing the weakness in an enemy and a ferocity in battle that inspired his troops to ever greater feats of violence. He was a renowned and feared leader, but he was hungry for more than the meager scraps he could raid in the snow. When Gorrok heard about the death of the Imperator of the Kaiju Republic, he saw his chance. With promises of loot and raiding, Gorrok gathered the largest goblinoid army that had ever been. Orcs, goblins, bugbears, hobgoblins and even ettins and ogres assembled under his command and as a bloodthirsty tide, they descended upon the weakened empire. The war with the Star Legion had already weakened the Empire and the deaths of many of their most powerful families had made control over the Kaijus dangerously frail. To protect the nation, the few remaining capable of controlling the Kaiju had been forced to put them to sleep, caging them under the ground in magically induced comas. When the armies of Gorrok trampled into the Kaiju Republic, it was weak and ripe for conquest. And conquered it was. It took ten years, but in the end, Gorrok smiled with satisfaction as he marched into the Senate and personally beheaded each and every senator while his army burned down the capitol. People were dragged from their houses and riches were stolen as the goblinoid army ravaged the heart of the Republic. Satisfied that he had conquered what he had desired and with a sated bloodlust, Gorrok returned to his home to grow fat and old in wealth.
