Justain joins the war on the side of the Taldor City States.

Though the generals of Taldor protested, Justain was given charge to command the war against the Dragon Empire. While Taldor had no forces as powerful as the dragons leading the armies of their enemies, the bravery and tenacity of the crusaders invigorated and inspired the troops. While it was slow, the crusaders slowly started pushing the Dragon Empire’s forces back. While they could not slay many dragons, dragons alone couldn’t hold the captured lands - And every time they tried to field land armies, Justain led his crusaders in a mounted charge that would scatter the Imperial forces to the four winds.
Though it took 30 years, the crusaders not only retook the lands claimed by the Dragon Empire, but managed to even conquer several Imperial provinces before the Dragon Emperor was brought to the negotiation table.
At the fortress of Zakarian, the Dragon Emperor and Justain each signed a peace agreement, ensuring that the Dragon Emperor would waive all demands to Taldor lands. The war was won.
