Stars falls on the mortal realms and the Star Legionnaires attack.

500 years had passed since Avalon had conquered her empire and the elves were at the peak of their power. The Dwarven kingdoms, while individually strong, had no desire to unite. And the fledgling human societies were still little more than tribal societies. And then the stars fell. All the races knew of falling stars, the streaks of light flashing across the night sky, surrounded by superstition and fear. That was nothing compared to the terrible rain of fire that hit Gaia in this Occult Age and which ended that age once and for all. Across the world, stars started falling on Gaia. But while previous stars that had fallen had merely knocked over some trees and killed a few people, these stars devastated cities and punched through fortress walls. Terror and destruction reigned across the world, fields burning and people desperately seeking protection. For one full moon did the fire rain, it's destruction relentless. When it ended, the Star Legion fell on the world. Ships made of metal descended from the heavens and where they landed, creatures covered in metal and volcanic glass spilled out, wielding weapons of starlight. Though the elves had mighty armies and Avalon led them bravely to battle, no victories could be won: The elven arrows merely bounced off of the Legionnaire's armors. Everywhere, the elven armies were being pushed back. Little better did the dwarves fare: While their mountain fortresses could keep the invaders out, any attempt at a counter charge lead to the axe-wielding dwarves being burned alive by beams of starlight.
