Dragons return to take revenge on those who killed their Emperor.

If Attorum thought that the dragons had left and he was safe, he was sorely mistaken. In 1397, the skies above Attor grew dark with scaled wings. Chromatic and metallic dragons both, momentarily dispensing of their rivalry, came back to rain vengeance upon those who had killed their dragon emperor. For two years, the potency of dragon fire - And acid, and ice, and electricity - was demonstrated fully as the dragons tore their former empire to pieces. Attorum himself was torn from his palace and whisked away into the air, never to be seen or heard from again. The People’s Sovereign Nation collapsed, burned to ash, and left little behind but fear and terror.
