Session 3

General Summary

The Huntsmen found the Thornwall Mine and found a small group of kobolds ambushing them outside.
After a harrowing fight, the Huntsmen ventured inside, finding many triggered traps a few un-triggered before running into more kobolds.
A near-defeat caused the Huntsmen to retreat, returning the next day fresh and ready for combat.
Brutalizing their way through the kobold forces, the Huntsmen found their leader: A vesk called Dredva.
A fight ended with the Vesk slain and a discovery of his purpose.
The mine had become home to kobold refugees, fleeing from their dragon overlord and Dredva had been sent to hunt them down.
After a conversation, the Huntsmen told the kobolds that they would try and negotiate a deal for them to stay in the mine with the mayor.

After returning to town, the Huntsmen got rewarded by and made a deal with Buchanan Whitewall in which the Kobolds were allowed to stay in the mine as laborers.

The Huntsmen were also told that a series of crimes had haunted the town: Two disappearances, of a merchant called Anna Bruxton and a fisherman named Juan Mercedes, as well as the burning of the Anderson home.
Meanwhile, Rowan Eastwind found evidence that the burned down building was no accident and, taking some evidence to the alchemist Sonya Crawfield, was told that Alchemist's Fire was likely used.
In the church, Konstantin Fieldstein was approached by Anthony Santiago, who had an urgent request: Cathill Manor was under assault by gnolls from the Roarhowl Pack and he feared that they would steal the The Codex Hereticus.
