Oxxoa (OCKS OH AH)

The Oxxoa, known also as Minotaurs, Are a race of half man half ox demon fey spirits that trace their lineage back into a dark demonic past.
They have a innate magical sense of direction, known as Labyrinthine Sense, which comes from their time as the demons which watched over the plane of Cosonox. A form of soul purgatory where those who die from unlucky circumstances go to wander forever in Panitheria's Labyrinth forged from the souls of those who meet their end wandering it's walls
HISTORY
Born of a dark ritual involving a demonic entity and a young woman in an age lost to recorded history, the Oxxoa were originally created on their plane of hell, Cosonox to serve the Rakshasa Panitheria as she explored the plane for potential Infernal colonization. They were given immense strength, as well as the ability to be fine craftsmen, do to the complexity of Cosonox, they were given an inability to be lost via their labyrinthine sense. As a final touch from their Rakshasa creators they were given a massive capacity for violence and a taste for the flesh of mortal beings. They have since been banished from their demonic realms, joining the myriad of mortal races on the world of Aenumariil. It is said that the strongest of their tribes stayed behind to guard the Labyrinth awaiting the warriors return to their hall.
Currently native to the western coast of Evesair, the Minotaur tribes were a nomadic culture of hunter gatherer warriors with a fierce tradition of spirituality and shamanistic magic. Although the Minotaurs are removed from their home in Cosonox, the knowledge of demonic rituals and hellish practices was not lost to them. Before the event known as the "Taming of the Tribes" Minotaur raiding parties would attack and claim slaves to provide work, sustenance, and sacrifice to the tribe.
After the founding of the Vorunstein Diarchy, the tribes were hunted down and extinguished by the organized eastern armies to the point where they were offered a chance at second rate citizenship within the Diarchy. After the Civil war sundered the brotherhood between Akra and Dion though, the Minotaurs sided with the closest seat of governance to their homeland, with the Empire of Dyonicus.
