Aen

Sweeping from the west, a fierce wind was born among the white-capped waves in the world's biggest ocean. It blew toward a vast continent, carrying migrating seabirds with it. It whipped through sails, causing captains to shout orders at their crew. Slightly lessened, the wind blew inland, losing the salty ocean scent. Over snowy mountains and great forests, it blew, chilling those it passed, forcing cloaks to be tightened and shutters to be closed. All but a gentle breeze now, it swirled through the streets of Asleigh, cooling the city's inhabitants on a hot summer day.

Geography

Aen is a continent surrounded on its northern and eastern sides by mountain ranges, and its southern and western sides by ocean. In almost the center of the continent is a smaller mountain range, and at its base is the city of Asleigh. Various port cities line the coasts of Aen, and in the north-eastern area, almost in the corner of the two massive mountain ranges, lies a huge lake. To the south of Asleigh is a large forest, which sprawls across multiple nations, and the primary source of lumber for those nations it crosses.
