Eagle Empire invades the Rebel stronghold, yet face mass slaughter. Fear motivated Orr'Hamon to invade the Rebel stronghold before it became influential. However, days before the battle, the King was killed. But even this could not change the tides of destiny. The army of the Eagle Empire faced mass slaughter, shattering the ego of the Empire

the battle at mount resistance     and as seasons passed like falling leaves, the age of war soon came to the band of rebels, who waited in the valleys like alligators sleeping in the mud of the river.     messengers came from the far side of mount     when wolf-badger and the clans of the rainbow revolution prepared to defend mount resistance, the home of the great eagle, and the last free place of the land. wolf-badger gathered all who were able to fight from the four corners of the land to the peak of the mountain to stand and fight the great army of the clan of the takers. the seven children of the rainbow revolution looked upon the horizon as the army of bpa'bpabaelo came marching towards them. outnumbered and inexperienced in the art of battle, the frightened, but impassioned inhabitants of the land stood atop the sacred mountain, watching as the horizon darkened with the shadow of the machinistic armies of consumption.     lioness came, along with silverfox of the northern rise, to support wolf-badger and share with him the doubt that shadowed their hearts. "brother. warrior of the resistance. we are outnumbered and we doubt the and we must use our hearts and minds if we are to be victorious. if we divide our forces, we can claim victory over the takers and defend the sacred mountain." at this, cougar and wolf gathered creatures like themselves and ran down the mountain, scattering to the east and to the west. the takers saw them scatter and said to themselves, "we have already won!"     after that, beaver and the children of the ground came to wolf-badger and shared what was burning in their hearts. "Child of the resistance,if we are to defeat the sons of bpa'bpabaelo, we must use our hearts and minds. let us use the gifts endowed to us by mother earth, and go down and dig a trench surrounding the mountain." at this, the creatures of the ground - the beavers and moles, the gophers and other burrowing creatures ran down towards the mountain. again, the army of the takers saw them flee, and thought to themselves, "we have won this battle without even fighting!"     ajavol, who belonged to the daughters and sons of the gods approached wolf-badger and spoke, "child of the resistance, we must use our hearts and our minds if we are to defend this mountain. we wish to offer ourselves and our gifts to the cause of the revolution. we bring the element of fire, so let us run down behind the army of babaelo, and strike when the time is right." at this, the daughters and sons of the gods ran down behind the mountain, out of sight of the taker's army. the kings of babaelo saw this and said in their heart's, "see, even the children of the gods scatter at our forces! we have won this battle without even fighting.     finally, the eagle and the creatures of the heavens came to wolf-badger and spoke. "child of the resistance, we humbly offer all we are to the cause of the revolution. let us fly into the horizon, returning when the time is right." wolf-badger kissed the talons of brother eagle, and sent them off. the takers again saw the fleeing creatures, and were confident that they would have their victory.     in hopes of a negotiation, wolf-badger sent two sacred doves to the army of the takers, as a sign of peace. the kings of babaelo took the doves, and tore their bodies apart. this, to wolf-badger and the others was a clear sign that the takers would not leave in peace. wolf badger and the remaining creatures of the free world ran down the mountain, crying, "maen babaelo!" the takers ran towards the base of the mountain, swords in hand, ready to kill. as they got to the base of sacred mountain, beaver let loose the waters of the river, and the base of the mountain flowed with water. then from the east and the west came wolf, cougar, and others like them. they fought with passion, pushing the takers into the waters. water dragons, who lurked in the waters consumed all who fell in. the army of the takers was scattered, and they started to run behind.     but ajavol and the children of the gods met them from behind with the power of fire. water and fire from the north and south, and the beasts of the earth from the east and west surrounded the army of the takers, closing in on them. the children of the earth fought with passion and rage, believing in their hearts it was better to die for freedom than to surrender to slavery.     then from the heavens came eagle and the creatures of the sky, who dropped great stones of earth on the army of the takers. great rocks from the heavens crushed many, aiding the children of the earth in the battle. the battle was long, and many gave their lives for freedom, but the army of the takers grew small. the free children of the earth continued fighting, until all but a few of the clan of the takers were left.     cougar, wolf-badger, wolf, beaver, eagle, and ajavol surrounded the remaining warriors of babaelo, and gave them this message:     go and tell your kings that the children of earth are free. tell them we will never be ruled by another. we are the children of the rainbow revolution, the children of earth. and we are free. another telling...     In the age of war, wolf badger had been chosen by the sacred eagle to protect the mountain of refuge, the last of the sacred sites and the last stronghold of the creatures of earth. wolf badger went to the four corners of the land, spreading the word of revolution to the four tribes-wind, water, earth, and fire. after many days of traveling, spreading the message of resistance, wolf badger and the army he had gathered met on top of the mountain of refuge, ready to fight, ready to die.     the armies of the clan of the takers marched towards the mountain in great number. as a gesture of peace and non-violence, wolf badger sent two doves to the takers, for it was not in the spirit of the revolution to use violence as a means of attaining peace. from the top of the mountain, wolf badger and the rest of the creatures of earth watched as the leaders of the taker's army killed the doves, sending a clear message to the four tribes. wolf badger spoke to four tribes, assigning each of them a sacred task.     the beasts of the earth, the creatures with claws and teeth ran down the mountain, going to the east and to the west. the creatures with a knowledge of depths of the earth, along with the creatures of the water went to the base of the mountain. the two-legged ones, the gods of old went down the mountain, taking there place behind the army of the takers, waiting for their sacred task. the creatures of the sky flew above the takers, disappearing into the horizon. wold badger and the rest waited until the takers were near the sacred mountain, and filled with courage, ran down the mountain side, declaring with all their voices, 'vaej maen'. When the army of the takers saw them charge, they too ran towards the mountain.     as the takers approached the base of the mountain, the ditch around the mountain filled with water, swallowing up many. from the sky came the winged ones, who dropped stones and balls of flame upon the vast army of the takers. the army scattered to the east and to the west, but were met by the beast of the earth, who showed no mercy as they slaughtered the army. from the south, the children of men lit a vast fire, trapping the army.     the fighting was brief, for the creatures of the earth were strong with anger. wolf badger came to the few takers who were left, and against the will of the others, let them free.     before letting them go, wolf badger spoke, " We are free. We will always be free. We do not wish to take your lives, but we will do so at the cost of freedom. go now, and tell your leaders that the beings of the earth will no longer be enslaved. go and tell your people that earth, and all her children are free. let them know what we have done, and let them know we will do it again."     at this, the takers scattered, spreading the story of the defeat to all villages of the takers. all of the land knew now that the revolution has begun. all people knew that the children of earth would be enslaved no longer.
