Tabaxi

The Tabaxi live on the Leoberos plains and in the Leoberos Woodlands on the southern half of Rhokarn. They get along fairly well with the Dragonborn of Northern Rhokarn and the Aarakocra that live along Rhokarn's Spine. The City of Vorran is even a Tabaxi controlled mixed port city, serving as a central trade hub for the three races.
Tabaxi, like Dragonborn live in Clans and elect Chiefs. They have been trying for years to join the Clanmoot and become an official part of the Clanship as their populations have grown. They wish to participate in the decisions of the Clanmoot but some of the older more hidebound Dragonborn refuse to admit them unless they convert to the worship of Bahamut.
Most Tabaxi worship The Cat lord, who they believe created them and gifts each Tabaxi with a feline trait upon their birth (see Volo's Guide to Monsters for a breakdown). Those gifted with curiosity become great adventurers who wander far collecting knowledge. Tabaxi treasure knowledge and lore and it is said the libraries of Tharish, their main city, are filled with the collected lore of many generations of curious Tabaxi who return home with their wealth and write it down to share with future generations.

The Tabaxi of Aellorim come in all colors and variants of both wild and tame cats. Some even possess lion-like manes.
