Organizations, Societal Groups, and Towns of Evenfall

Organizations of Evenfall   Rhokarn Rhokarn has five major societal groups that hail from different parts of the island nation:
  • The Spelldraught Order - Made up of gifted students from the Smallspire Academy this order focuses on containing and eliminating the wild magics ravaging the land by utilizing antimagic zones and nullification spells. Students are chosen for their aptitude for control of magic as opposed to raw power. Associated Cities: Smallspire, Trispire
  • The Dryfalls Monks - A group of monks living at the base of the mountains along Rhokarn's Jaw. Dryfalls is so named for the sand falling from jagged outcroppings on the mountain range. The outcroppings resemble teeth and are considered holy artifacts. The monks of Dryfalls study and protect these and other artifacts. They also perform archaeological digs in the area to learn more about the areas history. Associated Cities: Dryfalls, Rustfalls
  • The Emerald Druids - Dragonborn druids of Clan Virideus that make their home in The Emerald Grove. Isolated even from the rest of their clan, the druids practice nature magic and try using it to heal the lands post Shattering.  Associated Cities: Yilxar
  • The Silent Sails - A group of pirates and sailors inhabiting The Shatterway in parts of The Bone Sea. They owe no allegiance to The Clanship and move their town of Silentshore anytime tensions arise between them and The Clanmoot. This group is not always criminals but often does work outside the laws of The Clanship. They prize personal freedom over all things and they celebrate folk heroes and entertainers and all other people who might become celebrities, iconoclasts, and figures of legend. At the same time the common working class sailor is a symbol of their strength. Associated Cities: Silentshore
  • The Griffin Roost Trade Caravans - The people who run with the trade caravans are often drifters, prizing the open road and the freedom it brings them. They do most of their trading in and around the Leoberos Woodlands and savannah and often develop close relationships with the Tabaxi of the area. Many Aaracokra tend to hail from these caravans as it is the first point of contact they make with the rest of civilization once they leave their secretive roosts. Associated Cities: Griffon Roost, Steepcliffe
Rekenar Rekenar has three major societal groups that hail from it:
  • Magvall Institute of Technomagic - Those hailing from MIT tend to be technologically minded in their magical study. They're often inventors or mages of some description and are handy with their chosen tools. Students that are accepted into the institute show great promise in inventive use of either technology, magic, or both. Associated Cities: Magvall
  • The Stone Road - The road stretching north from the city of Hammerstone to the city of Oberstone tends to be populated with small settlements of dwarves and like minded folk who are hardworking and prize order and art. Both cities are stable and relatively ancient, ruled by Dwarf clans that settled in the area thousands of years ago. Those hailing from this area are seen as hardworkers and gifted craftsmen. Associated Cities: Oberstone, Hammerstone, Kirnstonn
  • The Ravaged Coast - Those hailing from the northern coast of Rekenar are seen as extremely hardy folk as the area is constantly beset by wild magic storms. Vegetation finds it hard to grow in this area as the land has been magically altered by The Shattering. Large groves of petrified forest lay flattened against the ground. These forests have been harvested by cities and towns like Throkmar to use as building materials and are found to be fairly magic resistant. Very few people with magical ability come from the coast and most leave very quickly to attend MIT. Associated Cities: Throkmar
Thaydalyn Thaydalyn has two major societal groups that hail from it:
  • The Faerwarth School of Sorcery - Those born with innate abilities often attend the Faerwarth Scholl of Sorcery for formal training if they so desire. Some even claim their lineage goes all the way back to before The Shattering when the humans of Beorzahn were the primary source of magical talent and learning on Evenfall. Located in the Crescent Wood, the school is populated by students who are fascinated by wild magic and it's properties and often try to work with it rather than against it. Associated Cities: Silathi
  • The Dying Lands - The people hailing from this area find themselves in dire straits as the areas around Thyr and Thalas are slowly dying. The Shattering severed the Eastern half of Thaydalyn from it's Western side and the river grows larger every year as the land succumbs to the harsh magics released by the catastrophe. The people in the area are slowly leaving as farms can no longer support life and the forests that used to cover the rolling hills wither and die. Thyr tries to maintain a bridge crossing to the Western half of Thaydalyn for they rely on the supply caravans out of The Crescent Wood and Arquet. Associated Cities: Thyr, Thalas, Astor
