Kenku

Originally from Nixtegar, the Kenku of Evenfall are thought to have come to the continent alongside ancient humans. They live on the outskirts of society, usually in small family units called flocks. Mant Aaracokra seem to view Kenku as lost cousins but no link has been found between the two races despite their mutual avian like appearance. The Kenku in Nixtegar claimed to be evolved from birds and despite their lack of wings their ravenlike appearance seems to corroborate this. Kenku by their nature are secretive and cunning creatures, often getting by via illegal or immoral acts as these are easiest to apply their skillsets to. They lived on the fringes of human society until its fall and now they make their livings on the edge of other societies. A large portion of Kenku flocks have established themselves as ferrymen across the large river dividing Rhokarn from Thaydalyn ane Rekenar. A Kenku town is even said to exist on the large island at the widest part of the river but few outsiders have ever seen it.
