Elves

The Elves of Evenfall can be categorized into three subraces: High Elves, Wood Elves, and Drow. The Concord of Silathi was formed after The Shattering to preserve what was left of their people and cultures.
High Elves The High Elves of Torsys were in the most contact with the Humans of Beorzahn and thus suffered the most from the instense Wild Magic realed by The Shattering and the sinking of the human kingdom. They were forced to abandon Torsys a few years after the cataclsym and have resettled in Silathi, though a few have built a new city along the coastline called Ravajyr. Every year more of Torsys falls into the sea as harsh waves stirred up by magical storms pound the ragged cliffside where it sits.
Wood Elves The Wood Elves of The Crescent Wood were the least affected by the initial fallout of The Shattering as they were more reclusive than their cousins the High Elves. After the event caused the High Elves to abandon Torsys, the Wood Elves opened their home of Silathi to anyone displaced by The Shattering and formed The Concord in an attempt to aid the refugees. The Concord consists of a representative from each group involved who speaks for their people. The city of Silathi has become a melting pot of cultures due to this.
Drow The Drow lived in The Deeps underneath Thaydalyn, venturing out only to trade with the other inhabitants of the area. The Shattering collapsed their tunnels and drove them to the surface. The Concord helped them to establish a refugee camp along the northern coast of Thaydalyn known as Arquet that now has become their main home. The Drow have built Arquet into a properous fishing town. Some Drow have taken to sailing out on The North Sea, making trips to Ouncthor and returning with the pelts of great white bears and tales of giants.
