Dwarves

Dwarves The dwarves live on the western edge of Rekenar in the mountains bordering the river. They mine ore and smelt the bars for trade and many are great craftsman and metalworkers. Their city of Hammerstone lies at the foot of the largest mountain in Rekenar. The initial relationship between the dwarfs and the orcs was one of animosity but the accepting nature of the gnomes and their general enthusiasm helped calm tensions between the races. Now all three races work closely together, Creating the commonwealth of Rekenar so as to further grow their society.
Duergar When The Deeps were collapsed by The Shattering the Duergar were driven to the surface. Initially they fought their cousins the dwarves but efforts for peace were made and the Duergar began to try to integrate into society. They are still treated with some wariness but they have proven themselves to be very shrewd businessmen, quickly climbing to the top of the merchant class.
