Aegiose
June 8 of Year 500
Centuries ago, the world sent emissaries from all walks of life to colonize the last remaining continent. Nearly one hundred groups sent ships to vye for a spot on the continent, named Aegiose.
One by one, each of these groups died out from starvation, the environment, or a strange illness that struck randomly and swiftly, called the Madness. Soon, those hundred groups dwindled to fifty, forty, thirty, twenty, less. All that remained were the strongest.
Aetherborns
Chaos
Allegiant Knights
Firesmiths
Stoneskins
Shield-bearers
World-shapers
These groups grew to combat the madness in their own ways, and soon lost the history of the rest of the world. Some hints remain, but barely enough to rediscover magic and some technology.
Now, the Madness is said to have returned, starting with Aemoniran Regent Aeditha Brujin. He seeks to delve into the Wilds in the center of the continent in order to find a cure, but he spares the lives of none. He sends the Aemoniran army to conquer the kingdoms on either side of Aemonira in addition to the Wilds, but with the absence of the Archmage, his plans are running anything but smoothly.
