Dwaerin, the Living Flame

A powerful magic flame, drawn deep from the earth through the fire god Imix.

History

A channel of arcane magic formed underneath Mount Imix, thousands of years of pressure have forged it into a single orb of living fire. Over the centuries it turned the mountain dwarves into azer, who used it in turn to create their own fire god, Imix.
Hidden from the outside world, the azer used the Dwaerin to prosper, but King Snurre's avarice compelled him to harvest the living flame in order to harness its power and conquer the world above.
Ethilendra forged a pact with their ruler, King Snurre, then betrayed him to steal the living flame for herself.
