Imbuer

Imbuers are adepts who store elemental energy in simple objects. The simplest such object is the so-called elemental bomb, which consists of elemental energy stored in a glass orb. The orb, upon being shattered, released a burst of elemental energy. More complex or controlled effects are possible; for instance, frost imbuers make much of their money from refrigeration stones that constantly release just enough frost energy to keep perishable food cool. Imbuers tend to either serve civilians or military; the Scyllan Coast in particular maintains regiments of imbuers to allow a steady supply of ammunition and war machines.

Most adepts start with simple trinkets, then increase in specialization and complexity to fill a niche. For instance, an earth adept may start with simple earth bombs, then move up to self-assembling stone shelters.
