ADVENTURE BRUNCH #30 -- NOVEMBER 11, 2019

General Summary

The group of Zura, Jingles, Hadija, & Shakax went out to clear out leyline #1 of 2 powering Zura's personal tower. They had to cross a river to do so and the raft just so happened to fall apart leaving all parties to have to finish crossing the hard way and taking them off course from their destination. They wandered about and were attacked, defeated, captured, and stored as food by giant spiders in the wild. Fortuitously the party was able to free themselves from their spider cocoons within the leyline they were looking for. Zura immediately attacked a giant spider egg sack full of babies which infuriated the momma phase dryder who proceeded to repeatedly try to murder Zura dead. 

Zura lost her very expensive shiny shield in a pocket dimension while escaping her imminent vicious death. After Zura was knocked unconscious three times during a long and vicious battle, the phase dryder blocked the exit. She was finally defeated when Shakax hurled the unconscious and bleeding out Zura through the air like a sack of potatoes and Jingles jumped in the air while casting his last healing touch spell to her butt. Zura landed on her face (failing her dexterity saving throw) but got up for the fourth time and finally landed the killing blow on the dryder. The party walked away successful with 725 exp for the day, though still battered and bruised. Zura may now have a phobia of spiders while Jingles pillaged himself a new spiderbow with unknown magical properties.
