ADVENTURE BRUNCH #23 -- AUGUST 4, 2019
General Summary
The party of Aslam, Cyrus, Hadija, Methty, & Zura went to Bragga to visit Efendi Iben D'Cannith's tower and complete a quest for him. They were teleported into a blighted cave where they freed The Nerid Knight of Spring, where there were some very tense moments of almost drowning and almost falling to their deaths--and she attempted to cleanse Methty and all of her holes--but the party was victorious and The Nerid Knight of Spring and Efendi Iben D'Cannith managed to enter a contract/treaty of the olden days as was Iben D'Cannith's goal.
It may be noted that Aslam indirectly caught a glimpse of the Knight despite being commanded not to, and almost died. He remained unconscious for most of the tense moments.
At The Nerid Knight of Spring's request, the party went about trying to free other spring fey creatures. After facing off with three shadowy wraith-like creatures of darkness, they managed to free thousands of sprites who promptly went invisible and flew away from the ongoing fight. One of them, named Fuwa, decided to stay with the party. Cyrus offered her an elderberry and she seems to be following him for the time being.
The party then proceeded to the Village of Valenwood where they set a trap to kill and capture one (or more) of the Cursed Elven Creatures that had been stalking them throughout their adventure for Efendi Iben D'Cannith to attempt to find a cure for the Seemingly Cursed Spring Elves. The party planned... and succeeded this day! Efendi Iben D'Cannith rewarded them with a small chest of 500pp, and each party member received a mystery goodie bag from an unknown benefactor. Methty and Zura are concerned that Hadija will immediately spend it all on candy, and plan to supervise her on a shopping excursion soon.
Each party member received 692 exp.
