Adrasta

Adrasta is a world filled with magic. Its inhabitants and their societies have been shaped by the magic and myths that have been intertwined in their daily lives since the planet's formation. However, the constant presence of mystic wonders is unremarkable to the people of Adrasta. It is a science to them; a natural order of the world around them. As the magic has become less mundane over the millennia, many societies have begun to abandon the legends they once held fast to. Superstitions may be maintained, but some do not recognize them as anything beyond that. But just as the myths seem to have started dying in people's minds, these lost legends seem to have decided that the world of Adrasta needs a reminder of just how real they are.   Along with the strange occurances in the realm of the arcane, the struggle of nations continues in Adrasta as it does in any world. Intrigue is rife among the great nations of Adrasta and their citizens, with conflict arising not only between the rulers, but domestically. With tensions higher than ever, war could break out at any moment and end the peace that has been maintained for an entire century. Silent threats are coming from all sides now. How will the people of Adrasta react when they learn that their world is now in jeopardy from not only a political war, but unseen magical forces as well? Or will they tear themselves apart before war or myths are able to do so?
