Temere Wastes
The Temere Wastes are a desolate place. Nothing can be taken for granted. Around the altar of Diconom Rex the world shift and turns. Animals are deformed into amalgamations of their former selves. The only thing that is constant is the chaos emanating from the wandering throne. Few people wander the wastes, but those that survive are gifted with immense power, but the power of Charnel may just as soon consume a man as it may empower them.
Geography
Alters, monoliths and strange structures created by noone dot the landscape of the wastes. Water spurts up from the ground to nurish, or poison, the fauna. Day in and day out giant canyons split the earth before closing just to let the boulders roll over the flats. The land itself molds itself to the rampant thoughts of Diconom Rex, and may just as soon disapear underfoot. There is no safe way to traverse the Temere Wastes, but it is widely known that no traveler should ever turn around, instead the travelers must keep their destination in mid as they traverse the wastes. Traveling the wastes is unpredictable, and may take days or years.
Traveling through the Temere wastes
The Temere wastes are a very strange and unpredictable area. For this reason the landscape will change every day and traveling parties must confront these shifting landscapes day for day. The only rules that seem to remain constant in the wastes seem to be that leaving a path is extremely dangerous and those that dare to leave them rarely ever return. While traveling the wastes the it does not matter which path is taken. In fact, the only crossroads that a party usually encounters are choices on what they might experience.Fauna & Flora
Few creatures wander the land aside of the dreaded Chaos Beasts. They wander the wastes gorging themselves on the magic radiating from Diconom Rex.
