Evergrove
The Evergrove is the first forest that grew in Adatia, and is often called the eternal forest. Many woodelves and druids have sought refuge within to comune with the Hidite and the spirit of nature.
Geography
The Evergrove can roughly be sectioned into three regions, Laous, Mercador and Estedor. These region all meet at the great lake Taurailo, one of the most sacred sites of the Evergrove. Laous lies to the north and ranges from the edge of the forest in the west to the largest river of the Evergrove, tancduinë. It is for the most part safe, as there are many small woodelf conclaves that offer sanctuary and guidance to amiable travelers. As a stark contrast Mercador which consists of the lands on the other side of the tancduinë, to the western side of the Evergrove where the mountains recede, has only few settlements that are separated by long stretches of untamed forest filled with ferocious beasts. The final section is Estedor, which ranges from the Western edge of the Mercador region to the coast, where the forest fades into the sand. It is by far the calmest region where the beasts are no worse than in an average forest. A few elven conclaves dot the landscape, having made the maintenance of the dirt paths that allow for trade between the elves of the ancient tree-city Umbartalda and the rest of the world.
