Nightbow

Structure

Silent One: The leader of the organization. They organize every move that will be made. Every mission is given, every assination is assigned. They are given their title because very few ever see them in person. A lower member recieves an envelope from the silent one and carries out its instructions.  Seeker: Seekers are veteran assasins and spies. They usually deal with carrying out orders, and helping out the lower ranking members of the order carry out their missions successfully.  Nightblade: These are the typical assasins of the order. They carry out missions to kill or capture people who they are ordered to.  Watcher: Watchers are typical spies. They go out to gather intel on the target, bring it back and get their reward.  Dawnblade: These people arent the ones who carry out the missions, rather they are accomplices in the missions. They might help a watcher get into a position in which they can gather the intel, or find holes in the security of someone a nightblade is going to assasinate. They rarely interact with the rest of the order, and instead are stationed across the globe to help in missions. They are only involved in the order when they are asked to help by a command.

Culture

They believe that money is the most important thing. They dont care who wins, who loses, what their victims stood for, or what they did. All they care about is getting money for a job well done. Some members question this, and those members usually get betrayed. Many times, an assasination or a spy job is done against a higher ranking member of the order than the person who hired the order. This is all done so that they can become higher rank. As such many order members are careful about their movements and who they talk to. Fools who run their mouths off wind up dead.

Public Agenda

Few commoners have heard of Nightbow. Many nobles know of their existance, and hire them to gather intel and assasinate their political rivals. Nightbow does not care who they assasinate, as long as they get payed. So nobles know if they need something done, they can contact someone in Nightbow-or Nightbow will come to them.

Assets

Nightbow is not the wealthiest of organizations, as very few of their profits from jobs go towards the organization as a whole. They take 10% profit from each job they pull off, and since few have heard of them, they dont get many jobs. They do not have many buildings. They might have a small building in  a poor side of a large city, but otherwise they improvise ways to gather. They are very scarce, only being about 800 members strong. They do have a lot of good equipment. They have many poisons, daggers, and crossbows.

History

About 250 years ago, a half elf named Artus decided that he would become wealthy. He had been living on the streets all his life, and had already had his fair share of blood spilt at his hands. A wealthy noble heard of his exploits and had him captured. The noble offered young Artus 2 choices. He would either turn him over to the authorities and he would be executed- or he could kill the nobles rival and be rewarded with a wealth beyond what any would see in their life. 100 platinum pieces. Artus hunted down the mans political rival, and slayed him with relative ease. Instead of just living with his new wealth, he decided to found Nightbow. Nightbow was an organization that specialized in what he did. He slinked around the city, finding those who were best at robbery and killing, and added them to his ranks. Quickly he established contact with many nobles and became known across the city he was in. He was the leader for 50 years, staying in shadow before his protégé killed him in his sleep. His protégé expanded the organization to being having contacts across the continent and having a few outposts. since then, they have been growing, and about every 20 years the leader was betrayed and a new one continued expansion.
