Gelda Islands (Gel-A-da islands)

The Gelda Islands are a vitally important military and trade outpost that is a stepping stone for eastern trade. The islands are two main Islands, the northern Dousa, and the southern Hunsa, and two much smaller islands called Khiva and Khira. They are the northern most isalnds in Adma-Alta's overworld holdings, and house important shipyards, docks, and bases for trade and military activity. There wasn't a native sapient population before the Altans discovered the islands in 74 BA. The person that discovered the islands, Demos Corsica, found the smaller islands first, and named them for the Emperor and his family at the time. Khiva and Khira for Vina and Raya Calde, the set of twins the Emperor had the year prior.
