Achora The Land Beyond the Waves

An ancient land once spanned by a massive empire. Centuries ago an unknown disaster struck the land, killing most of the inhabitants and leaving entire cities abandoned. Nature and strange magic have since encroached upon the remains of civilization.   Fey roam the wilds, some fair, others foul, twisting fortunes and bodies at their whim. Ancient trees groan and fall beneath goblin-trained war beasts. Dragons wage a relentless turf war while vying for choice pieces of the old king's treasure. Elemental fire and echoes of calamity plague the eastern lowlands.   Over a half-century ago, an storm-battered vessel from the continent of Morden washed up on these strange shores, and so a new era of exploration began. Researchers, explorers, and refugees made the long journey across the ocean and founded a city: Stormborne. In the last fifty years it's exploded into a diverse and thriving city and has even sprouted some satellite settlements. But there's still so much yet to be discovered and understood on this strange continent. Expeditions are already underway, but progress has been slow going. Perhaps the arrival of some curious new heroes portends a shift in fortune?
