Adamnite Gold

Adamnite Gold is one of the rarest metals that can be found on Acciphere. It was used to make one of the strongest, most powerful weapons to ever exist. Due to its popularity around the planet and its rarity, it was considered a gift to even get to see this metal.

Properties

Material Characteristics

You know if a rock is an Adamnite Gold ore if it glows a shiny orange colour. Once it is refined, the metal turns yellow and lustrous.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Thankfully, Adamnite Gold is safe to touch, but if it plunges into the skin of another person, animal, giant, or robot, it will momentarily turn liquid and inject itself into the bloodstream.
Adamnite Gold when refined is also like metals back on Earth: It is lustrous, malleable, ductile, and fairly warm to the touch.

Compounds

A special alloy invented by a scientist in 300 AD uses Adamnite Gold and Asil Jade, and is perfect for temporary invincibility. It was originally named Invincium, but later was renamed as Yutheatine in honour of Yuthean, the scientist who effectively tested and perfected it.

Geology & Geography

Adamnite Gold is only found in the MeldMine, and sometimes inside Mount Forge in very minuscule amounts.

History & Usage

Discovery

It was discovered in the MeldMine by a group of miners led by Sir David.

Everyday use

It is very rarely in common use, but Adamnite Gold was mostly used to make weapons and Yutheatine.

Cultural Significance and Usage

People having this metal were often considered very rich and elevated them to godly status.

Refinement

Adamnite Gold can only be refined under huge temperatures. It is put in a very hot kiln until the impurities vaporise. By this time, the metal ore turns liquid, and takes almost a week to cool down.

Manufacturing & Products

It is maufactured into spears and other weapon-related structures.

Hazards

Liquation of Adamnite Gold can lead to serious issues if the person refining it breathes in its fumes or touches it. It is easier to be subject to the risk of blood-suffocation when the metal is in liquid state than solid.

Reusability & Recycling

It can be recyclable, but its power decreases by a fourth if done so.

Distribution

Trade & Market

It sells on the Dragontail Route, where all types of metals can be found.
