Permanent Migraine
A headache that never ends. The headache can cause severe and sometimes severe pain. The pain feels like a pulsing on the sides of a person's head. If they can get back to their home treatment can be started. If not the shocked of the migraine could kill the mer.
Symptoms
Unlike real migraines, permanent migraines are not self-diagnosed. An older merperson goes to a healer who then tells the merperson that they have the illness.
The permanent migraines cause throbbing on the sides of the merpersons' head. This throbbing will not stop. At times it can be easy to deal with, but most of the time it causes the suffer a lot of pain. The permanent migraines become worse when the older mer sees a bright light and hears very loud noises.
Treatment
There are two types of treatments. Both methods can give the merperson relief.
Self Treatments
The mer can avoid triggers that cause the mer to have more pain. Another method is to avoid too must stress. Also, good sleep and diet can help ease the pain.Healers' Treatments
Healers can use their sea magic to ease the pain. They can also make potions that can help. The potions work similarly to real-world medications.Affected Groups
The elderly are the most affected by the illness. The illness is mental and is something that can happen uncommonly among the elderly.
