Sarith

A male drow, Sarith is sullen and keeps to himself, rebuffing attempts to talk to him. He is disgraced by his imprisonment but is resigned to his fate, since there doesn’t appear to be anything he can do about it.

Known Information

Knows Velkynvelve very well and can tell the group that there are three guards in the tower opposite the pen, with regular shift changes. Explains the ways out of Velkynvelve. Jorlan was injured by a black pudding while out on a routine patrol, he was saved by the magic of Asha, the trainee priestess under Ilvara. He has been left scarred and disfigured, unable to fight in the same way. Since then he has been displaced as the leader of the guard by Shoor, who now wields his wand of viscous globs. This wand is used to restrain prisoners. There is a grey ooze living in the pool at the bottom of the waterfall, it not the black pudding that attacked Jorlan, but no one knows what it is or what it wants. It survives on the waste that is dumped into the pool from the outpost. A supply patrol from the city is a few days overdue, which is very unusual.
