Winter Holm

Winter Holm is a group of islands in the far north. Since most of it is a large glacier, people tend to live by the coast where they snow acutally dissapears in the summer. If it werent for the large deposits of iron and other useful minerals it would likely be deserted. Graycastle got its name because it is pretty much the only thing that is not white. The winters are unbelivably cold and the ports freeze over makeing it inaccessable and dangerous.
Culture: They are very individualistic. Only the strong can survive the winters.
Staple food: Frozen and heavily salted fish and wildlife.
