Orc

The brutish orcs were a failed attempt by the people of the High Empire to produce brainless servants capable of mundane tasks, undesired by all but to complex for normal beasts. This greenish humanoids were built stronger and smarter each time, capable of more small tasks until sentience formed. Being slaves for centuries, they revolted against their masters and led to the Empire's downfall and to the rise of their own. Now, after living among the other races, the specie is more varied but most members still maintain many of their race's characteristics.
