Asleige

Asleige is the home of Krass and is the farthest system controlled by the Fonian Mandate.

It was the pioneer of spike drive rediscovery. They were the second system in the sector to rediscover and adapt spike drive technology, only proceeded by the AI Morin in the Foni system. Krass accomplished this by turning its entire population into a workforce dedicated to building a major orbital shipyard and rediscovering and adapting spike drive tech.

Most ships and non-planetary sites are owned by the new Krass government, although private enterprises are becoming more common.

Home to a defective medical-nanite-swarms that cause mass mutations and death. The planet is being purged of these swarms, but the project is projected to last decades longer.
