Aareth

Aareth is a many-peopled world, built by the gods, whose magic is harnessed by the people living there. It has a long history of many ages, and through all, the different gods and their people fought for dominance, until balance was established. But the only thing that is everlasting is change, and change is coming. There are several sets of magic from the different gods, from the fire-weilding Azhar to the Runemages of Kharlaa and the Fae of the Ferosi Woods. Overarching all are the Dragons, who keep watch over the world, led by the Dragon Kings and the Ash Inheritors. The magic of different peoples clash as anger new and old rise between gods who had been sleeping, but now walk among the mortals. They have gifted (or cursed) certain mortals with the power and memories of gods and arguments long over.
